Where it was
- Outside: faux brick wall panelling, gables and eaves
- Garage: the toilet and the profiled sheeting

Set up properly
SafeWork NSW was notified and the neighbours were told in writing before work started. A site-specific asbestos removal control plan was in place and a licensed asbestos supervisor was on site for the whole job. The work area was fenced with asbestos signage on display.
Removal
Our licensed crew worked in disposable coveralls and respiratory protection. The asbestos was wrapped and loaded into a plastic-lined bin, then transported to an EPA-licensed waste facility, with proof of disposal provided.
Clearance
When removal was finished, an independent licensed asbestos assessor inspected the house and issued a clearance certificate.
The result
About 300 m² of asbestos removed in four days, with a clearance certificate for the owner.
